Organic Farm The owners run a certified organic farm through traditional methods. They produce legumes, cereals, honey, various kinds of cold meat and salami, vegetables, several sorts of fruits, wine (Verdicchio, Rosso Conero, Rosso Piceno), and cold-pressed olive oil. Guests are offered typical homemade dishes cooked with the produce of the farm itself. Vincisgrassi (special lasagna from the Marches), tagliatelle (ribbon-shaped homemade pasta), coniglio in porchetta (stuffed rabbit), mushroom and truffle ravioli are some of the delicious dishes exclusively served in the dining room to the house guests and not outsiders. Barnyard animals are bred with the cereals cultivated in the farm itself. Vino cotto (literally .cooked wine.), vino di visciole (wine from sour cherries), passito di Verdicchio (wine made from dried grapes), dry sparkling wine of Verdicchio, medium-dry Lacrima of Morro d.Alba, Vernaccia of Serrapetrona are some of the products that guests can buy together with salami, local cheeses, olive oil and honey. |
